Hymix worked closely with Total Constructions over a 9 month period to supply concrete to all areas of this challenging aged care construction project, a self-contained retirement community set over multiple stages and geared for further expansion. The project’s range of concrete requirements meant Hymix needed to customise mixes, and the experience of the Hymix team allowed them to exceed the client’s needs, while simultaneously accounting for the large supply required for a self-contained community.

Keeping in mind the longevity of a village such as this, it was integral to supply high-quality concrete to perform alongside decorative products that are seen as architectural features. All to support completing the project on time and as planned. Anglicare Retirement Villages has a large social focus for the community, and with coloured concrete catered for by Hymix, including a community centre, library, gymnasium and outdoor recreational walking tracks, these areas could shine.
